Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell - born 27 March 1970 at 5'9" height - is an American actor best known as her character actress, Dr. Juliet Burke of ABC's Lost TV series. Gia as well as The Escape Clause. The stepfather of Mitchell Joseph Day Mitchell and mother Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) are lawyers based in Dallas. Washington High School, a magnet public school that focuses on the visual and performing arts. Mitchell is the oldest of her three sisters; the other two being Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint at Encore Theater. She is most well-known for playing the role of the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) The role she played on Criminal Minds was reduced to half in the sixth series as per reports dating back to June of 2010. Brewster's part on Criminal Minds ended in March 2011, but she could return later.
