Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda lived in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest from four children. When she was ten years old, Linda became fascinated by acting when she performed an instrumental role during her school's Christmas play. She did school and community shows. Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on the 5th of April 1989) is an English actress. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career on the British TV show Just William (2010). After her success in the role of Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012 to 2015, her first breakthrough role was in the fantasy movie Cinderella in the year 2015. James continued to play the role of Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). He also starred as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period television dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Her performance in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with the Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
